Beautiful vintage Japanese Kyoto Damascene bracelet from the 1950's. There are 9 links each with a different scene. The exquisite details on each link are stunning. Miniature nature scenes depict flowers, birds, leaves, stars, landscapes, mountains, pagodas, etc. Damascene is done using karat gold and fine silver overlay onto a black niello background. The inlaid pieces rest inside gilded brass settings, most of which are round except the clasp, which is a fancier fluted hexagon shape. Measures 6.25 inches (for a thinner wrist) long and 0.5 inch wide with a push-in clasp. Damascene is in excellent condition, back shows some wear and age patina.
